*EDIT December 2008*
It’s now using one of Brian Gardner’s amazing new themes, Black Canvas, with a few tweaks for the archive pages and RSS feed.
*/EDIT*
As you’ve probably gathered I’m very much into photography. I upload most of my photos to Flickr, but I wanted a site to showcase my favourites. Presenting www.agaveweb.com/photos !
It uses a theme called Monochrome Gallery and uses custom fields to display the photos and thumbnails. Notable features for this site included:
Overall, it’s a great theme which didn’t require much in the way of adaptation and I LOVE the javascript image gallery on the front page. There are also pro (paid for) versions of the theme which have lots more configuration possibilities through the admin panel.
Check it out and leave a comment either there or here if you want to know more about the ins and outs of photoblogging.

I am new to photoblogging so it’s cool to see what can be done. I agree though that the layout is really great. The color theme really makes the images pop. Well done!
Thanks Erik! Glad you like it. One of the things I’m planning for this site is a button to change the background from black to white, since it’s a matter of personal taste rather than design…
I also am new and am utterly amazed. Thank YOu for the inspiration
You’re welcome, Ted. Best of luck with your site too.
I recently saw another stellar photoblog theme. This is a ‘premium’ one i.e., it costs 25 bucks, but at first sight it looks worth every penny.
Check out the Photographer Dream Theme and no, I don’t get commission
