Internet Scrabble Club

EDIT: 2/Nov/08: The isc.ro site’s been down for me (and everyone else according to http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/)  for a week or so. I can still log in and play though… Doesn’t bode well.

Internet Scrabble Club

EDIT: 1/June/08 : Just noticed a spike in traffic for hardcore scrabble addicts wondering what’s up with the ISC server. On their site it’s saying:

The main server is currently experiencing an outage. We do not have an estimated time to repair at present. ISC backup server is running, to connect select from the ‘Open Connection’ window ‘ISC backup server’
We apologize for the inconvenience.

I can’t connect to the backup server though… Hey ho. Looks like it’s back to Scrabulous on Facebook

Just testing a new button I’ve got on me browser that I can press when I want to blog a page I like… My scrabble rating’s presently at 915, highest ever. This year I intend to get past 1000. Sita’s moving over to the dark side though, with her Su Doku, so fat chance of any real world practice…

    Statistics on my site usage… Half the fun of having your own site is seeing where people surf in from.

    I just had 3 decent real-time games on scrabulous.com. One with another ISC refugee. My handle’s gwynf if you fancy a quick SOWPODS game :D

    Hi qwerty,

    every now and again they have issues in Romania with the ISC servers, they usually publish something on their site if it’s a big issue…

    Facebook’s now banned scrabulous for US/Canadian users, but there is a way round it using proxy servers, email for details ;)

    What’s happened to the Internet Scrabble Club? I haven’t been able to connect since Sunday August 31st, and there’s been no explanation. Help - I can’t live without it. Do you know anything?

    Seems like lots of people are locked out of it, Chrissie… I just logged in with no trouble.

    here’s my standard email for people asking about it:

    I’m nothing to do with the ISC site, I just play there occasionally.

    All I can tell you is that over the last 2 weeks or so there’ve been lots of searches for “ISC server down” arriving at my blog. I’ve had no trouble connecting though I don’t know if that’s because of my settings (SOWPODS, VOID) or what the deal is.

    anyone:
    please let me know if you hear anything about isc being back up. i’m an addict and can’t live without it. i’ve tried downloading again but no luck. sigh

    Wow! Scrabulous.com is down… and was hosted by GoDaddy??!

    I can still get on ISC, but there are WAY fewer people playing. On their site: “Right now there are 5422 players logged into the ISC and 2008 games in progress.”
