Am listening to Radio 2 while translating and chanced on this song by Gabriella Cilmi. Best thing I’ve heard in a while. I ’spect everyone’s already well aware of her by now though, but things move slowly here in the Alamiddle. She’s from Oz apparently.

seems only radio 2 knows a number 1″ hit when they hear one c”mon all you other radio stations out there..get playing this song and if theres any good producers/managers out there you should be chasing after this band!”!!!

She is from Dandenong (east of Melbourne), Australia. I heard this song on the radio here in Melbourne and thought it was the best song I’d heard in years.

Was listening to Radio 1 on my way to work the other day. Heard ‘Sweet About Me’ for the first time. Really love this band’s sound! Haven’t heard anything as good in a l-o-n-g time. This song deserves to be heard by everyone!!

Agree with “sweet about me” stopped me in my tracks when I heard it the other day. heard it again on the Brantano shoe shop’s track but their staff didn’t know who it was. Neither did the girl in Blockbuster. So I googled it, and ended up here…so…Hi!

I happened to hear her song about a week ago on VIRGIN RADIO
and then hooked on it. Kinda old tuned melody and atomsophere it caiires like Duffy’s ‘Mercy’ with catchy new something lurk in this tune.Splendid!

I have been hearing it on this tv ad for the hair cuttery for a few weeks and it’s been driving me mad trying to shazam it on my iphone to see who it was. finally I googled “hair cuttery sweet on me” and ended up here. I can finally relax. I love this song.
