  2. This was my very first, very own, camera. It was brand new, in the box, a Christmas gift from my parents; so you now know how many decades I’m been taking pictures. That camera sits on the bookshelf above my desk and brings back wonderful childhood memories. Thanks for reminding me.

  4. Thank you, Suzanne, for taking the time to comment.

I love the aesthetic of these cameras and looking through the viewfinder through the all the dust and scratches… I’m thinking of tracking down some film and seeing what kind of results it would produce. Keep up the great work over at your photo blog, I’ll have a proper look around very soon.

    Happy shooting!

Many thanks in advance for your feedback

Here’s the little camera that prompted me to register the domain vintageviewfinders.com. It was a bargain all round. I’ve not taken many TTV shots lately, but will soon…

If you’re reading this on the site and not via email, I spent a couple of hours trying to make it so you can click on the main photo to view the next image. It was surprisingly tricky but I managed it in the end. Now you don’t have to fiddle around trying to find the link each time. There’s never been a better time to have a look through the archives (this is photo #251 :D )

Also on the cards is a button to switch the background to white or grey depending on your mood. Don’t hold your breath for that one mind, but I’m on it.
