It’s probably only if you’re visiting from Maine right now, but I just wanted to point out that part of the diabolical contract I signed to put advertising on these pages states I don’t get any say on which are shown. So if you’re seeing ill-informed, self-righteous, hateful, homophobic anti gay marriage propaganda I can only apologise. Hopefully the sickening measure will be defeated and Maine gay couples will continue to enjoy a modicum of equality in some areas of their lives. Vote No on 1.

I don’t have a huge amount to say about this pic that I’ve not already mentioned in my blog or facebook. Suffice to say, Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm is well worth a visit right now.
You can see the whole series on Flickr or over at me poor, semi-abandoned blog.

Yep, there’s been a hiatus while we moved from Mexico to Oakland, California via a wonderful 3 week holiday in Somerset in the UK. Apologies for that. I’m going to keep posting Mexican photos for a while until the quality trails off then there’ll be some kind of thematic shift. I’m still not sure what it is I want to capture exactly about my new whereabouts. There’s lots of houses and the usual chain stores and I also don’t feel as comfortable wandering round with my camera as I did in Mexico, but hey ho, something will come up. Maybe I’ll advertise for muses on Craigslist.

This photo’s from Guadalajara’s Mercado de Abastos, the food market where shops and restaurants do their supply shopping.
